Dear Father Christmas...

Because we have been working really hard at school and at home this year we thought we would write you a letter to tell you all about it. 

We will plan our writing so that we can spell our words correctly and we promise that it will make sense.  Our plans will help us write the best letters to you and we will use our very best handwriting.
