Once Upon a Time CURRENT PROJECT
Once Upon a Time
We’ve had a message, there are problems in Fairy Tale Land ! The children have stumbled across a crime scene and found straw, sticks and bricks strewn across the floor, and some suspicious looking paw prints. I wonder who they could belong to?
The Three Pigs need a bigger, stronger house to live in and the Gingerbread Man would like a vehicle to get him across the river. They both need our assistance to decide which design and materials would be best.
To help these characters the children will learn to recite these stories and all about materials and their properties.
How many of these fairy tales have you read?
We have been busy cooking our own gingerbread men. Luckily they didn't run away like the one in the story.
The children in reception have been very busy this half term finding out about ‘People who Help Us’.
A doctor came to visit us and talked to us about what happens if you have to go to hospital. We used a stethoscope to listen to our heart beats.
We also had a visit from a PCSO who talked to us about her job in the community and how to stay safe. We got to go in the police car and heard the siren. We had lots of fun trying on her uniform .
