Minibeasts and their habitats

Minibeasts make their homes in lots of places, both inside our homes (spiders) and outside under logs, stones or leaves, in ponds, in trees, in grass and in soil. The place where something lives is called a habitat.

It is a place where the insect can find food, shelter and protection.

Think back to when you were on your minibeast hunt last week, where did you find the minibeasts? Were they hiding under logs or in the soil?

Look at the powerpoint below to learn more about minibeasts and their habitats.
