Week 4 28.3.22
Dear Parents and Carers
We can not believe we have reached our last week of this project. We have had some incredible learning experiences and the children have been enthused and excited all the way through.
After designing and choosing healthy snack ideas previously, this week the children will be creating their chosen snacks, trying them in the 'cafe' and evaluating them. We can't wait to share pictures of our outcome with you at home. We're sure you will be very jealous of the delicious snacks we will all be enjoying.
In literacy we will be designing and creating a menu for the visitors to our cafe. We will describe our healthy snack and include pictures.
In maths, we will be learning about position and direction using quarter turns to direct Hando to Akeyo's village. We will be writing instructions and following them, as well as using beebots.
There are lots of fun food and cooking activities on 'Busy Things' so take a look.
Thank you for sharing your photos and videos of you making your healthy snacks at home. If you would like to still share a recipe with us, be quick! We will be creating a secure online recipe book to share with all of you this week. Look out for the link, we will send it next Friday.
