People Who Help Us

Over the next few weeks we are going to be thinking about different people who help us.

This week, we would like you to have a think about people who help you at school.

Activity 1

What different jobs do adults do at school?

How do the adults at school help you?

Discuss these questions with your family and see how many ideas you can come up with.

Who helps you if you fall over/hurt yourself?

Who helps you with your learning?

Who phones your parents if you're feeling poorly?

Who does your assemblies?

Who is in charge of the school?  What about if this person isn't in?  Who would be in charge then?

For circle time this week, we would like you to take a look at our 'Who's Who' section on the school website.

Pick a member of staff and take it in turns to describe what their job is. Can you guess who it is? Then, take it in turns to talk about a time when someone at school has helped you! Click on the link below to access the 'whos who' page on our website.
