Week 3 21.6.21

Dear Parents and Carers

This week in English is poetry wee. The children will be creating a poem called the 'Sounds Of Southsea' based on a poem called  'The Sound Collector'. They will use their knowledge of Southsea and its features to think of all the different sounds they heard or might here in Southsea.

In Maths we are continuing a money theme. This week the children will be learning about all the coins and notes we use. They will making amounts and going 'shopping'.

The children have designed their porthole collage and now will create it using collage materials.

For our Personal, Social and Health Education them of change please send in a baby or toddler photo for Monday if you have not done so already. The children will be using their photo to talk and write about how they have changed. Thank you.

Look out for examples of your child's learning on Tapestry and don't forget Bug Club for more reading book choice.
