Dragons
Dragons!
The artwork that the children experience throughout this project is big and bold. They begin learning how to sketch dragon body parts though watching videos and PowerPoints on the process of sketching and shape and form. Next, our pupils learn to create 'big' art work. The use a printing technique called 'scrunching' to dab the shape of a dragon, then when dry the children are taught how to add features, details and colours using printing objects and paintbrushes. The art section of the project comes to close with the children sculpting a clay dragon. the children are taught how to shape and form their dragon then they use clay tools to add textures, scales and details.
