Week 3

Next week, in History, we will be comparing a modern warship with HMS Victory. We will also be sketching Lord Nelson, ready to use water colour pencils the following week. In Computing we will be creating captions for when our artwork is displayed. 

In Phonics, we are learning about adding 'ed' to the ends of verbs and the spelling rules for this. When the word ends in 'y', we swap it to an 'i'. When a word ends in an 'e', we just add 'd' and we will also be learning the rules for doubling up the last letter of the verb. 

In Maths we will be learning about fractions. We will also be continuing with lots of arithmetic practise!

We are also going to be learning about Holi, which is a popular ancient Hindu Festival, in RE next week.
