Visits
For a hands on, first hand experience Year 1 visit Manor Farm, a working Victorian farm.
The children have the opportunity to see what life was like for a Victorian child living on the farm, including:-
- lessons in a Victorian classroom with a teacher with a real cane!
- doing the washing and using a mangle
- feeding the animals
- playing Victorian games.
