Week 1

This week, the children will be introduced to New Zealand through a wonderful video. We will be locating New Zealand on a map and carrying out lots of mapwork where we will be identifying different parts of the UK, continents and oceans. 

In English, we will be finding out about a region of New Zealand called Bay of Plenty. We will be creating persuasive posters and leaflets about Bay of Plenty, using the 4 different sentence types; command, statement, exclamatory and question. 

In Maths, we will be learning the division symbol. We will be learning about dividing/sharing by 2 and 10 and we will be getting outside to problem solve!
