Week 2 27.9.21
Dear Parents and Carers
We hope the children enjoyed the first week of our project. They are all keen to become Bishops Waltham Superstar Learners.
This week is our Health and Hygiene week. It is important as a Superstar Learner to look after ourselves including getting lots of sleep, exercise, eating lots of fruit and vegetables and keeping clean. Dr Raftery will be visiting the classes to talk about keeping healthy including hand washing. Later in the week the children will learn about simple first aid and how to place someone in the recovery position.
In literacy the children will be learning what instructions are and how to use 'bossy' words. They will write instructions for a poster about washing hands.
In Maths the children will revisit number lines. Adding and taking away by counting jumps on and back on a number line.
Don't forget to look for extra books to read on Bug Club.
Have a great week.
