Hooks

In Early Years the projects are designed to excite and engage the learner while giving a purpose for the learning. Sometimes the hook could be a surprise visit from a book character leaving clues around the classroom.  Another hook may be a letter from someone important asking for our help as a team.  All designed to engage all learners and to spark their curiosity. 

Our local Parish Council wanted our help to improve the equipment in our local park.  We used their letter as the hook for our project "Time To Play".
