This week we are going to learn how to recognise, name and write fractions of a length, shape, set of objects or quantity.

On Tuesday, we will start by recognising and naming the fractions 1/2, 1/4 and 1/3 of a shape and quantity. The strategy we use to find a fraction of a quantity is below.

On Wednesday, we will be looking at 2/4s, 3/4s and 2/3s of a shape and quantity. The method is below followed by today's activity.

On Friday, we will be looking at all the fractions we have done so far, to find a fraction of length and set of objects. Use the strategy below to help you find a fraction of a length and then complete the activities below. there are also some challenge at the end for you to try.
