Week 6 - May 24th
We have had a very wet and windy week with lots of fun outdoor learning. Check on Tapestry to see photos of all our fun activities.
We have finished writing our Deadly 60 scripts and are ready to start filming next week. These will be on the website for you to enjoy by the end of next week. We have had so much fun finding out about different animals and can’t wait to share them with you.
We will be doing lots of arithmetic in Maths next week including partitioning numbers, recognising subtraction and addition is the inverse and problems and reasoning.
In PSHE we are looking at how important sleep is to keep healthy. We will be discussing bedtime routines and relaxing activities to help the children get ready for bed.
We have not given any new spellings for next week. Instead we will be doing a spelling test as a selection of all the spellings given over this half term. Please look back over the last 5 weeks and help the children practice them ready for Friday.
This week you will have received a leaflet and letter about swimming. The children will only have a total of 4 swims over the half term. The children will have swimming and PE on the same day for 2 sessions out of the 6. There will be no swimming or PE on the 22nd of July, as this is our last day of term. A polite reminder that goggles can only be worn if you have a prescription. Don’t forget to send back your swimming forms.
