Week 5

Another fabulous week in Year 2! Your child may be singing Christmas songs at home now because preparation for our Christmas Evening Event on the 9th is in full swing! We hope to see you all there. It would be really helpful if you can learn the words that have been sent home for this. 

Next week we will be learning about riddles in English and writing our very own riddles about features of New Zealand. In Maths, we will be learning about 2D shapes; naming them and their properties and finding them on the surface of 3D shapes. We will also be looking at vertical lines of symmetry. During our Project Time, we will be learning about capital cities and the children will have some more unique printing opportunities in Art.
