Week 4

What a lovely week we had last week! This week we are going to continue with our clay tiles; painting them using water colour paints. We are also going to be carrying out some more mapwork, looking at the oceans and continents in the world. For English, we will be recapping different sentence types and conjunctions. We will be using these in postcards that we write. In Maths, we will be looking at money. We will be learning about the value of coins and making different combinations of coins that equal the same amount. For Phonics this week we will be reading and writing words with 2 syllables or more syllables. Perhaps you could try to spot some on street signs when you are out and about. Encourage your child to read them by breaking the word down into its syllables.
