We have great fun at Bishops Waltham Infant School learning French. It’s not part of the national curriculum at Key Stage 1, but it’s one of the many things we do above and beyond the curriculum to enrich your child’s learning experience. We have French lessons once a week for Years 1 and 2, where the children familiarise themselves with some of the basics of what for many, is their first foreign language. For example, greetings, colours, animals, food and the weather. We all have a great time playing games and singing songs in our exciting Friday afternoon sessions!
Vive la France!
