The Gingerbread Man!

This week we will be looking at the story of the Gingerbread Man.

Below is the story to read with a grown up if you don't have the story at home.

At school we have a story hill where we display the story we are reading.

It helps children remember the key words/phrases, characters and the order of the story.

Your task is to have a go at ordering the story pictures onto your own story hill.

Once you have done this can you label the main characters from the story.

Please see Miss Campbells below for an example

Learning the story with actions

Below is the story of 'The Gingerbread Man' that we learn in school.

Over the next few weeks we will teach you the actions so that you can perform this one at home too. I bet you will pick this up just as quickly as you did with The Three Little Pigs!

When you feel confident with the story and the actions then please send us a video of your performance on Tapestry.

We can't wait to see them.

Weekly Diary Entry:

Every week we would like you to write a diary entry in the exercise book we gave you, about something you have done at home. For example this could be what you did for your daily exercise, something you made, a piece of work you were proud of or maybe a story you really enjoyed.

Your grown up can photograph your writing and put it on Tapestry so we can see what you are doing. We look forward to reading them each week.

Reading and Word Practice:

Remember to read and practice your words at least 3 times a week. Click on the link below to see some fun ways to practice your words at home.
