Home Learning
Home Learning enables parents to truly be part of their children's learning journey. It is part of the learning outcome, where parents are the main audience. The task can take many forms, for example making, or writing. As parents complete the task with their children, they will find their child talking about the learning that is happening in school, providing opportunities to research together. For example, to make a house at the time of the 'Great Fire of London' there are facts that you would need to know about houses at that time. This will then link to understanding how the fire spread so quickly and looking at other contributory factors. For young children, home learning is a fun activity to do with their parents that they are very proud of.
