Our Vision for Sustainability

We want our children to be guardians of our planet, live sustainable lives and embrace change with positivity, flexibility and resilience. Above all, our children will need to be the decision makers of our future. Climate change is beginning to impact on our lives in many ways. We see examples of extreme weather, diminishing natural resources and increases in migration and food shortage. These are all issues that will confront our children in the future as they lead to live sustainable lives. They will need to question information that is biased, incorrect or even false, to make up their own minds about the world. As they encounter the rich learning across the curriculum, there will be numerous chances to explore the complexity of climate change and sustainability in practical ways, forming their own views and pledging to make a difference.
