PARKING-PLEASE READ

Today we have been sent a photograph by a local resident of the parking outside her house this morning. Parents with pushchairs had to walk in the road, children walking to school couldn't cross safely or walk on the pavements and cars were struggling to pass.

The photographs, with visible number plates, have been forwarded to the police. Parents have also complained to me, in the last week, about the dangerous parking by parents in the school on the zigzags, making crossing unsafe outside our school.

I am going to ask all parents, again, to stop and think before you park in a way that could make the walk to school unsafe for our children and grown ups. This is not acceptable parking.
