Lest we Forget
We sadly have not been issued with poppies to sell this year for the children and the British Legion have requested that due to current conditions that people make online donations only.
We will be honouring Remembrance Day with a 2 minute silence at 11am on the 11/11/2020. In today's assembly we read 'Flo of the Somme' by Hilary Robinson and Martin Impey. This is a story all about the animals that were used in World War 1, including 50,000 dogs, 3,000 000 horses and 100,000 pigeons!
