  • Home Safety Week 28th September-4th October

    Wed 30 Sep 2015

Year 2 are soon to have a visit from the Hampshire Fire Team about safety in the home. This week, it is home safety week and there is lots of information on the Hampshire site about keeping safe in home.

One aspect of safety in the home is being aware of carbon monoxide poisoning and how to keep your family safe. Mr Cornmell, Bishops Waltham local chimney sweep, helped me understand more about this danger and preventative measures you can put into place to help to keep your family safe.

From the 1st October 2015  government regulations require both smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms to be installed in rented residential accommodation.  The Regulations apply both to houses and flats.

Please log on to the link below to find out more about how to keep your family safe from all risks at home

  • SUPER SCARECOWS 2015

    Fri 25 Sep 2015 G Riches

Well done to everyone who entered our Scarecrow competition this year. We had 61 entries, including a rugby player, film stars and a lego man! Well done to Leon in Magpies who won first place, Eva in Kingfishers who won second place and Jessyka in Owls for winning third place. They have all won vouchers to spend in 'The Toybox' in Bishops Waltham.

Thanks to Mr Ely, all our scarecrows have now all gone to St Peter's Church for their Country Fayre which is on Saturday 26th September from 11am-4pm.

Parents can collect their scarecrows from the church after October 5th
