• 'Funds for Finn' Assembly

  On Thursday we held a special celebration assembly for all the runners who ran in 'The Great South Run' last weekend for the 'Funds for Finn' charity. They were all very proud of their t shirts and medals and said they had great fun racing! • Skeleteddy Winner

  The 'Guess the name of the Skeleteddy' competition was won by Bodhi in Year R. Thank you to all who had a guess and helped to raise money for the PTA.

  

• Meon Valley Heartstart First Aid Training

  Year 1 children had a fantastic day this week when David Williamson from Meon Valley Heartstart came to teach them first aid skills. They learnt how to respond to an emergency, call 999 for help and how to put someone in the recovery position.

  Then, on Thursday they taught their parents and carers the same skills during our 'Healthy Lifestyles Lab'!

  

• Harvest Time

  On Monday 7th October we held our Harvest Assembly at St Peter's Church in Bishops Waltham. For some of our children this was the first time they had visited the church and they were all amazed by the inside. Reverend Hunt joined us and was impressed by the prayers, songs, poems and stories the children performed. Thank you to all the parents who contributed to the Meon Valley Food Bank. They were very grateful for our contribution.
