£501 Raised for Children in Need!
Fri 13 Nov 2015Our school council (age 5-7years old) decided they wanted to run the fundraising for the children in need charity this year to help. They have more than doubled all our previous amounts raised! With Mrs Charles, our deputy headteacher, they decided on a toy and cake sale, where they organised and manned the stalls, which raised £327! They designed posters to advertise the event and wrote letters to the parents and children to explain what they were doing and why. They then decided on a 'sporting hero' dress down day today(after organising the class vote), which has brought our total up to £501! They came to our governors meeting this morning to explain everything they had done. They are our fantastic superstars and we are very proud of them. Our children have had a fantastic few days and we would like to thank all the parents, carers , children and staff for all their efforts!
