  • Year 1 Scooter Training

    Wed 06 Mar 2019

This half term Year 1 are extremely lucky to be receiving training on how to ride their scooters safely. The children have been learning how to scoot using both legs, how to emergency stop and weave about safely on their scooters to avoid pedestrians on the pavement. They have also learnt how to safely cross the road with a scooter, a skill I'm sure you will all agree is very important.

The children are really enjoying the sessions. Please click on the link to see photos of all the fun we have been having.

Don't forget we have bike racks to store scooters and bikes at School, get scooting!

  • Harvest Festival 2018

    Mon 08 Oct 2018 GR
Today we walked to St Peters church for our annual Harvest Festival. We were warmly welcomed by Reverend Hunt and our children recited poetry, danced and told stories about harvest. Year 1 and 2 had invented their own class prayers that were very thoughtful. It was a beautiful service and the children were amazed by the giant pumpkin in the harvest display. All contributions brought in were donated to Meon Valley Foodbank, which help local families at crisis point. Thank you to everyone involved for making this a special service for the children to remember.
