Keeping Children Safe
Thu 13 Feb 2020Today we introduced a new safety procedure into school called 'Lockdown'. We explained to the children beforehand what this meant and talked about situations when we may need to hit our 'Lockdown' alarm. We then practised the procedure with the children and they were fantastic!
We have sent a letter home explaining what a lockdown situation would mean for our children and we would like to reassure you that we continue to do our very best to keep your child safe at all times.

Our Wishing Assembly
Fri 20 Dec 2019Our term ended with our special ‘Wishing Assembly’ on Friday afternoon. Each class thought carefully about their wishes for the world. As we lit a candle for each wishing star, the light shone a bit brighter. If you would like to come and read our wishes for 2020 they will be up by Mrs Riches’ office.
We’ll see you all in 2020!

Panto Day
Fri 20 Dec 2019We all went to Fareham to see ‘Beauty and the Beast’ on Thursday. It was great fun and everyone had a singalong with the songs. Most of the adults said they had the most fun watching our children laughing and enjoying themselves. Thank you to our PTA and everyone who have helped to raise money over the last year which funded this special experience for our children.

Grandparents Service at St Peter’s Church
Fri 20 Dec 2019On Monday afternoon we held our Special Grandparents’ service at St Peter’s Church. This year, our furthest away winners were Scotland and France! Reverend Hunt said a few words and all the children learned something new about crackers! It really was a beautiful service, with the children singing songs from their performances and building up a nativity scene. Thank you to everyone who travelled to be with us for this special service.
