Thank you to everyone who came to see our lovely shows and contributed to our costumes for next year. The whole school team would like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas. -
The Angels have landed at St Peter’s Church
Wed 11 Dec 2019Every year we make a Christmas display at St Peter’s Church. This year, the theme was light and darkness and we chose angels. What beautiful creations they are! All the classes have their own angel and the teachers were busy putting them up after school Wednesday night. If you have a chance to go to one of the services over the Christmas period, or can just pop in to see them, please do. The church looks beautiful, as always, and I am sure James and his team would be happy to welcome you. -

Meon Valley Heartstart First Aid Training
Tue 15 Oct 2019Year 1 children had a fantastic day this week when David Williamson from Meon Valley Heartstart came to teach them first aid skills. They learnt how to respond to an emergency, call 999 for help and how to put someone in the recovery position.
Then, on Thursday they taught their parents and carers the same skills during our 'Healthy Lifestyles Lab'!

Harvest Time
Tue 08 Oct 2019On Monday 7th October we held our Harvest Assembly at St Peter's Church in Bishops Waltham. For some of our children this was the first time they had visited the church and they were all amazed by the inside. Reverend Hunt joined us and was impressed by the prayers, songs, poems and stories the children performed. Thank you to all the parents who contributed to the Meon Valley Food Bank. They were very grateful for our contribution.
If you would like to contribute further to this worthwhile cause, there is a box at reception which gets collected regularly.

Bishops Waltham Infant School Cross Country Race
Tue 23 Jul 2019We held our first ever cross country race this year and it was very exciting! Mr Campbell very kindly gave us a lend of the junior school field to hold the event. Runners were chosen at a pre qualifying event, and 8 boys and 8 girls in each year group were chosen. Year R completed 1 lap and Year 1 and 2 completed 2 laps each.
The support from the spectators was fantastic and the sportsmanship between the competitors was lovely to see. Thank you to Miss Turner (Sports Leader) for organising the event along with all the teaching staff.
